The position is a 12-month tenured appointment at the academic rank of Associate or Full Professor, depending on credentials. Responsibilities include: • Serving as the primary leader of the Program • Hiring, evaluating and developing faculty • Fiscal management • Maintaining accreditation • Grantsmanship • Scholarly productivity • Teaching in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program in Rehabilitation Science • Visionary leadership to promote ongoing advancement of the Program and the discipline of physical therapy locally, nationally and internationally
A talented Associate Director assists the Program Director considerably. This position requires an academic doctorate and clinical degree in Physical Therapy with licensure eligibility in Minnesota. An ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence in physical therapy professional, residency, and academic doctoral education, as well as enthusiasm for faculty governance.
