Providence is calling a Special Procedure Tech (Imaging Dept, Variable Shift, 0.0 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Perform Radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
Assert independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in special procedures for a radiologic diagnosis while providing radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards.
Assist in assigned administrative tasks and maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
Participate in the clinical activities, including call, within the outlined department.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver the best service to our patients and physicians.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of approved school of Radiologic Technology
Current Radiologic Technologist certification/license in the state of Montana
Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One year general radiology experience
Recent Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience preferred for modality of special procedures
