Responsibilities: Clinical faculty members will be expected to have demonstrated teaching effectiveness, scholarly productivity, service to the community or profession, and participation in the governance of the School of Nursing and the University. Faculty teach across all educational programs as appropriate. Clinical practice in the area of expertise may be incorporated as part of the position. Opportunities exist for formal leadership in the clinical setting or advanced practice specialty curriculum.
Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate, PhD, DNP, or International equivalent, or comparable qualification. Master’s degree and enrolled in doctoral program may be considered in limited circumstances, depending on specialty preparation and needs of the School. Experience in teaching. Evidence of community/professional service Defined scholarship area
Preferred Qualifications: MN Licensure as RN; Professional certification as an advanced practice nurse. Earned doctorate in nursing. Recognition in a defined area of scholarship. Demonstrated record of service to the profession
