No weekends or holidays, although week-end call is required.).Requires either one year ICU experience or one year Endo./GI experience.**Hematology/Oncology Support Clinic(APA)***90% Days position open (week-days, 9 hr shifts, 0730-1700, Tues.-Fri., no week-ends or holidays).Providing and coordinating all aspects of out-patient care for patients with blood (hematology) disorders and who have been diagnosed with cancer (oncology); inclusive of being responsible for coordinating outpatient chemotherapy treatments provided at the UW Medical Center; arranging and scheduling various follow-up treatments, procedures and follow-up care associated with the Heme/Onc patient population; providing in-depth patient and family education on specifics of hematologic disorders and respective treatments, chemotherapy treatments and complications. Through skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, the Heme/Onc RN2 assists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and quality of life. Heme/onc experience preferred; acute care experience preferred; minimum one year nursing experience required.**Radiology/Diagnostic Procedures**Full time, 100% Days position open.Position responsibilities include:
assist interventional radiologists during procedures involving all modalities of radiology in the Angiography suites (Body IR, Neuro IR, CathLab)
assist with Cardiology outpatient test: Echo's, TEEs, DSEs and treadmill tests
