Academic Advising Systems Analyst (Information Technology Consultant Foundation level)

California State University San Marcos seeks an Academic Advising Systems Analyst for their Instructional and Information Technology Service (IITS) department. This position provides application implementation, configuration, and maintenance to support the primary Student Information System, PeopleSoft Oracle Campus Solutions-Student with an emphasis on the Advisement module. The position maintains, supports, and provides training, documentation and business analysis on the eAdvising tools and operations such as Academic Requirements Report (ARR), and the Degree Planner.

Minimum Qualifications include: Bachelor's level degree; relevant experience and/or coursework sufficient to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position. -OR Associates level degree with two years of relevant full-time experience and/or coursework sufficient to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position. -OR Four years of relevant full-time experience to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position.
Preferences - Experience or training in the following:
Working in a higher education environment
Working with PeopleSoft Oracle Campus Solutions-Student Administration system
Familiarity or experiences with Academic Structure
Familiarity or experiences with Advisement Module
Familiarity or experiences with Student Records Module
Full-time, probationary positions with benefits.
Salary Range: $3,470 - $6,114/month
Anticipated Hiring Salary: $3,470 - $4,750/month
