The Medical Staff Coordinator supports the efforts of the Medical Staff to be self-governing by ensuring they meet regulatory agency requirements, including JCAHO, NCQA (National Committee Quality Assessment), and California Title 22. This position provides support and coordination to Medical Staff committees, sub-committees, and task forces.
Skills Required: Excellent written and verbal skills. Knowledge of JCAHO, NCQA (National Committee Quality Assessment), & Title 22. Competent in the use of Word and Excel, Medical Staff Software
Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. required. 5 years experience.
License, Registration or Certification Required: CPMSMSC or CPCS (Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist) …or obtained within 6 months of employment.
