Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC's position as a provider of world-class retail banking and wealth management solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Wealth Model Management Manager.
Design and manage our wealth portfolio management framework through use of market leading risk models and analytics covering different market environments and trends
Establish and implement proper governance to review and ensure fit for purpose design and application
Manage key Financial Planning and Advice models include but not limited to Customer Risk Profiling model, Product Risk Rating model, Simulation model and other models relating to advice and suitability
Manage model insights and interpretations to facilitate suitable wealth discussions and the right outcomes
Ensure that models are fit for purpose, best in class and represent industry best practice
Manage local alignment to global financial planning and wealth model governance standards
Encourage staff development through training, guidance and effective people management
Ensure a high level of compliance and control for the implementation of the models including oversight processes, quality checks and reporting
Work together with Retail Distribution to embed the Financial Planning and Wealth Portfolio Management models in delivering market leading wealth solution in Hong Kong
Keep abreast of industry and regulatory changes to timely determine opportunities and transformation needs
University degree in a business or quantitative finance discipline
Certified Financial Planner or Chartered Financial Analyst preferred
Very strong mathematical and analytics skills
Sound knowledge and experience in financial or investment planning programs
Experience in model management and governance
Ability to handle multitude of initiatives and implementation quality
Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and communication skills
