The successful candidate will be part of the CIB Market Risk Management team. Based in Hong Kong, the position will help the team analyze risks in the Asia Equity Business, develop risk infrastructures and enhance risk controls. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for the below:--
Led a team to identify, monitor and analyze risk exposures in the Asia Equities and Equity Finance businesses, as well as to enhance controls and risk transparencies.
Host risk meetings to discuss market trends, trading strategies, PnL trend and exposures with FO and/or other senior risk managers
Resolve limit issues and to analyze new transactions through Pre-Trade Governance process
Perform deep-dive analysis to generate insights and recommendations for senior management and the FO
Provide crucial oversight of risk data, interact with various stakeholders to improve risk reporting, controls and infrastructure
Be part of the APAC MR Etrading Virtual Risk team to cover Equities etrading activities
Explain and escalate potential issues timely and clearly to management
Contribute to or led Global and Asia Market or Legal Entity Risks related projects
A university degree in quantitative subjects
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Good market risk, derivative pricing model and equities product knowledge
Ability to work independently and proactively to resolve issues; also flexibly to meet deadlines
Good oral and written communication skills
Good project management, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Experiences in market risk or financial markets preferred.
