The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) seeks an experienced individual to handle federal procurement and international issues before Congress and federal agencies.
The Director for Federal Markets and Procurement Policy will serve as ACEC’s lead lobbyist on federal contracting and international issues, working through the legislative and regulatory process to advance industry positions. Candidates for the position should have strong experience in working with congressional committees and federal agencies, and have knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Capitol Hill, agency and/or related industry experience required; knowledge of the engineering industry a plus.
The national office of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), with a staff of 42 and approximately $16 million budget, undertakes advocacy and business programs for more than 5,000 member firms, in association with 51 state and regional councils.
