Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Material Handler.
In this role, the successful candidate Material Handler Job Responsibilities: A material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product. Material Handler Job Duties but not limited to: Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on orders. Maintains in-process inventory at Distribution center by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Receives material and supplies from deliverys by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock. Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, scanning and securing product. Documents product expiration and shortages within storeroom and PAR locations. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, supplies and equipment. Maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Pulls and fills orders. May use power equipment such as a electric jacks, and other devices operated in a distribution center environment. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory Distribution of linen to all service areas and ensure that all soiled linen is logged properly. Neatly prep-linen and store them in clean shelves in the laundry storage room Ensure that retrieved soiled linen collected and stored properly. Issue clean uniforms to staff after ensuring that they are in good repair. Understand the use of scrub machines. Receive used uniforms and send them to be laundered. Fill requisitions by counting and recording linen. Perform period inventories of linen. Record details of all outgoing soiled linen. Ensure that they are enough linen items and to meet the needs of the day. Issue cleaning linen as needed to all units and service staff. Distribution and tracking of all equipment.
