Fenway Health is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This is an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources leader to be a key driver in transforming the culture of Fenway Health.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CHRO is responsible for providing oversight and leadership for all activities related to the Human Resources function while fostering a transparent environment of accountability, excellence, collaboration, and cultural competence among the HR staff and across the entire organization. The next CHRO will implement best practices to elevate the level of professionalism leading to the adoption of a progressive HR culture featuring transparent communication, inclusion, and greater diversity.
The next CHRO will have successfully led Human Resources at a complex organization, ideally a mission-driven health, educational, research, or advocacy organization that features high cultural competency, a diverse workforce, and an HR function that is a trusted resource. The new CHRO will have used HR to guide a significant organizational and/or cultural change and be well-attuned to Best Practices in the HR field, including staff development, use of technology and union avoidance. The next CHRO will be a down-to-earth, unpretentious person able to engage gracefully with all levels and types of people. Familiarity with issues facing the LGBT community is important.
