The Head of Financial Security ("FS") Compliance Domain APAC is accountable for the management of the FS Domain across Asia Pacific, covering specifically Sanctions & Embargoes and Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism ("AML/CFT") matters. Additionally this role is responsible for providing information and support to the regional head of PE and the PE Domain for the effective deployment of the Anti-Bribery and Corruption ("ABC") framework across APAC. The Head of FS APAC is in charge of the development and maintenance of a sound partnership with Business Lines, as well as the animation of the FS community in APAC. The Head of FS APAC represents the APAC region for FS matters in front of Group Operational Perimeters ("OP") and Business Lines. Note : a reference to FS in this job description also includes AML/CFT responsibilities
General responsibilities ● Organize a consistent and coherent roll out of Group Financial Security (GFS) policies and processes across APAC ● Steer the FS function within APAC ● Oversee FS activities in all BL and Territories in APAC ● Relay the animation of the FS Community within APAC in accordance with the global animation strategy defined at Group level ● Set the tone to develop a strong FS culture in APAC ● Maintain and report a consolidated view of APAC FS risks
Expert activities ● Advise on FS topics escalated by Territory / Business Lines FS Compliance Officers ● Ensure adherence to the Group escalation process in APAC for FS-related decisions and provide decisions/advisory as necessary in the execution of the decision framework ● Support heads of Business Lines in assessment of FS risk ● Advise on Group FS policies as necessary ● Adapt (as needed) and roll-out FS policies and processes in APAC ● Contribute to ensuring deployment of FS policies into operational procedures in Business Lines ● Organize regulatory watch on FS topics and ensure sharing of major topics with relevant stakeholders ● Adapt (if needed) and coordinate the deployment of FS Community Animation plans (trainings, expert seminars, etc...) in APAC
Managerial scope ● Oversee activities of FS officers in Business Lines and Territories ● Perform direct management of Regional FS team ● Contribute to recruitments and performance reviews of FS staff (incl. functional reports) ● Monitor the training roadmap of their teams ● Represent APAC in FS Committees as required ● Ensure application of a strong governance framework for FS in APAC and chair relevant FS Committees in APAC

Experience and Qualifications required
At least 15 years professional experience working in financial services, with at least 5 years in a Compliance leadership role managing teams across various locations, and with preferably at least 5 years' experience in advising on FS matters.
