Directs the provision of pharmaceutical care at CCMC inpatient pharmacy, Oncology Center, Ambulatory Infusion Center and Camden Clark Out-Patient Pharmacy. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations governing the Pharmacy including licensing the pharmacy. Direct and oversee all aspects of Pharmacy operations including clinical decision-making aspects of patient management, accreditations and inspections. Responsible for the overall direction of the pharmacy department, including the purchase, storage, compounding, packaging, and dispensing of drugs. Develops policies and procedures, directs pharmacy personnel, and ensures adequate staffing for the department.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy
Must possess current license to practice pharmacy in West Virginia or be license eligible. Licensure must be completed within 60 days
Completion of a health-system pharmacy administration residency program AND 4 years of administrative experience OR;
Completion of a non-health-system pharmacy administration residency program AND 5 years of administrative experience OR;
Seven years health-system pharmacy administrative experience OR;
Ten years of health-system experience
