Full Time; Contract Starting Salary Range: $16.43 - $20.00/Hourly. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Involves planning, developing, implementing and advising on programs, services, activities and processes for students in their non-academic life at the university, including residential life, public service, student conduct and judicial affairs, identity-based matters, sexual violence, leadership development, student government, student businesses, student organizations, and other student resource center areas.
This position will provide support for the People of Color Sustainability Collective (PoCSC), an initiative housed at the American Indian Resource Center. Support includes using professional concepts to apply organization policies and procedures to oversee a variety of ongoing administrative operational issues. Duties will include coordinating meetings and activities; documenting meetings through notes; sharing program information with key constituents; working with staff and students to ensure the initiative is operating as planned; implement marketing and social media initiatives; manage communication tools; develop a calendar to assess workflow, planning and implementation of workshops, presentations and events; assisting with purchasing and analyzing and resolving operational problems of a moderate scope.
Student Achievement and Equity Innovation includes student services and academic support units with a goal of increasing and sustaining student retention and success with a focus on educational equity. Student Achievement and Equity Innovation includes the following units and teams: Career Center, Disability Resource Center, Educational Opportunity Programs, Learning Support Services, Resource Centers (African American, American Indian, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Chicano/Latino, Women's Center, Lionel Cantu Queer Center), Services for Transfer and Re-Entry Students, SOMeCA (Student Organization Advising Resources, Student Media and Cultural Arts Diversity) and HSI Initiatives.
The Office of Student Achievement and Equity Innovation, including all of the units and fund sources, has an annual operating budget of over $5.5 million dollars and $2.4 million in gifts, endowments, and other revenue. Retention Services provides services to the campus community with over 17,000 undergraduate and graduate students and has over 61 career staff employees and 830 student staff employees operating in 8 locations.
Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
Basic knowledge of advising and counseling techniques.
Knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
Knowledge of University processes and procedures.
Understanding of University rules and regulations.
The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
