This position serves as the key leader in the CSB's strategic priority to integrate primary and behavioral health care. Duties include developing internal capacity of the behavioral health system initiatives that embrace a culture and model of whole health through multiple strategies that result in improved health outcomes and overall wellness for people served by the CSB. Manages day-to-day operations related to integration efforts including the coordination of on-site service providers, supervision of staff supporting the integration effort, offering clinical management and senior clinical direction to BeWell staff, and over-seeing wellness and care coordination activities. Develops policies and procedures that apply to the CSB and cross-systems integration efforts. Works closely with CSB Medical and Nursing Services, Benefits and Eligibility, and Wellness and Health Promotion as internal partners of the integrated care model. Develops partnerships with primary care providers and systems, urgent care, transitional care, hospitals and others as part of the overall integration effort. Develops data collection, monitoring and evaluation approaches that demonstrate outcomes for individuals served.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, plus five years of related professional experience, of which two, years must have been in a supervisory role.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED: Contingent upon area of assignment, some positions within this class: Must be currently licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner; Clinical Nurse Specialist; MANDT Certifications within six (6) months of appointment and annually thereafter; First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of appointment and maintained throughout CSB employment; Medication Administration Assistance Certification within 90 days of appointment; Valid Motor Vehicle Driver's license with fewer than six demerit points (or equivalent in another state) at time of appointment and maintained throughout employment with CSB.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a Child Protective Services Registry, and a check with the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) to the satisfaction of the employer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with behavioral health and primary care integration. Experience managing staff. Program management experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Visual acuity is required to read data on computer monitor, incumbent must be able to operate keyboard driven equipment. Employee may be required to lift to 15 lbs. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
