Provide general student services to prospective, admitted, and enrolled students on the Albert Lea Campus.
Coordinate, award, and report on all Minnesota state programs including the State Grant, Minnesota Child Care Grant Program, Minnesota Native American Scholarship Program, Minnesota GI Bill, and Minnesota Dream Act. Certify the enrollment of students eligible for military education benefits. Coordinate the awarding, hiring, and reporting of Federal and State Work Study Program funds. Assist with additional financial aid and student service duties as assigned by the Financial Aid Director. Process Professional Judgments and other duties as assigned.
Associate's degree in Business, Accounting or related field or the equivalent, or two (2) years financial aid experience.
A minimum of three years work experience in a college financial aid office with additional experience in admission, registration and college programs.
Extensive knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and reporting requirements.
Knowledge of veteran's education benefits and college enrollment reporting requirements.
Must demonstrate analytical, problem solving, and fiscal management skills to effectively manage financial aid program awarding, account management, and reporting.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite products including Outlook email.
Knowledge of Image Now document imaging procedures and records management.
Ability to effectively work in a student service team environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or related field
