Willamette Valley Cancer Center in Eugene is looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager to join their team at the Central Business Office. In this role you would manage several departments that are crucial in the day to day operations of our multi-site, privately owned cancer care clinics. This position oversees 4 departments with 6 direct reports and 46 indirect reports. Strong leadership and talent development are highly desired with a focus on the efficient operation of day to day activities.

JOB SCOPE: Manages the front office revenue cycle processes for multiple sites within a practice. Oversees intake, insurance verification, charge capture and charge entry processes for compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as payer guidelines. Coordinates with office manager and front office coordinators to ensure optimal revenue cycle processes and adherence to USON policies and procedures. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, including ensuring that charge tickets and charge capture systems are updated.
Provide on-going front-office process review and implement process revisions as needed.
Oversee training for new front office staff, and retraining as needed.
Provide a central resource for front office processes, like intake, insurance verification, copay collection and charge entry. Work with offices to ensure compliance with US Oncology Network and site specific operating procedures.
Ensures roll-out of System updates to front-office team.
Responsible for quality work, meeting deadlines, and adherence to the Practices Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); regularly audits staffs work to ensure compliance.
Monthly, prepares revenue cycle financial analysis, including aged accounts. Monitors and assesses business metrics in order to refine processes and improve efficiencies. Guides individuals and teams toward priorities; clarifies roles and responsibilities of others; coordinates resources to meet objectives. Cascades goals down to individual staff's annual objectives.
Champions new initiatives; acts as a catalyst of change and engages others to change; paves the way for needed changes; manages implementation effectively. Steps forward to address difficult issues; puts self on the line to deal with important problems; takes ownership and accountability.
Develops, implements, and maintains the Practices revenue cycle training materials. Coordinates training of SOPs, systems, metrics, government regulations, and etc.
Responsible for the oversight of front office duties to include scheduling, check-in, and co-pay/co-insurance collection.
Attracts high caliber people, accurately assesses strengths and development needs of employees; provides timely, specific feedback and helpful coaching; provides challenging assignments and opportunities for development. Responsible for interviewing, recommending hires, assessing performance, recommending salary changes, and progressive discipline. Enforces adherence to the Practice and US Oncology policies.

Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or equivalent and a minimum of four years revenue cycle experience required.
At least four (4) years of medical revenue cycle work experience required with a consistent track record of achieving metrics.
A minimum of two years' experience managing, delegating, and following up on work priorities of others.
Individual must have strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT, ICD10, and HCPC coding and medical terminology, as well as an overall understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO, etc).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
