Candidate must be able to work independently from their home office or remote work space. Ability to use a computer is required. We provide 24 hour / 7 days per week operations and technical support. You will read using a state-of-the-art and top-rated teleradiology PACS system. You will read cases that are sent to VetMed Group electronically from our client hospitals and will read and dictate preliminary and/or final reports for electronic transmission back to our clients. Must be able to read cases efficiently and enjoy a relatively fast-paced work environment.
Primary Working Hours: Weekdays - 4pm until 8am Eastern Time; Weekends - 24 hours.
Shifts Description: Minimum commitment is for the radiologist to read 5 days per week, 5 hours per shift. Ideal candidate will complete up to 6 - 8 hours of reads on days he/she is working, depending on volume of cases. Waiver of minimum requirements is available for radiologists working between 12am – 8am Eastern Time.
Compensation Method: Per Study basis. Rates vary per modality.
