We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Administrative Coordinator.
Responsible supporting administrative activities and Departmental projects under the direction of the Department of Medicine Operations Manager. This position will support the DoM FGP clinical practices in short absences of a practice manager.Collaborate with the practices to implement, optimize and monitor operational performance of front end activates.
Assist in managing FGP Clinical Practice operations as directed by the Department of Medicine Operations Manager to meet FGP and Department of Medicine Policy and Procedures as it relates to best practice standards.
Manages deadlines of the Departmental annual CMS (Medicare and Medicaid) re-credentialing.
Follow-up on operational reports to ensure timely resolution by the FGP practices.
Manage components of the new faculty on-barding process for each practice.
Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines.
Ensure compliance with FGP and third party standards and procedures.
Build and maintain strong customer relationship through regular meetings and communications.
Evaluate current operational performance and provide plan for improvements and optimization.
Provide direction and guidance to FGP teams to achieve performance targets.
Identify problems in operations. Make recommendations to process and resolve them in quickly and timely manner.
Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations.
Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes.
Troubleshoot routine problems to assist practice managers as needed
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree, 3-5 relevant experience including managing office activities. Experience and competency with varies computer hardware, including EPIC (super user). Excellent communication skills, writing and verbal and skilled to communicate with varies audiences with diplomacy and tact. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to handle matters of highly confidential and sensitive nature. Ability to recognize and identify problems implications and propose alternative solutions. Skill in working independently and in following through with minimum directions.
Preferred Qualifications: EPIC super-user. Minimum three years experience with progressive operational or administrative leadership. Effective with multi-specialty clinical environment. Self-starter with high standards in completing projects. Exceptional communication skills including writing. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
