Under the direction of the Dean of the College, the Associate Dean for Student Life is responsible for providing visionary leadership for the department of Student Life. In the accomplishment of this goal, oversees the planning and implementation of student-related events and programs, including orientation, leadership development, identity and inclusion, community development, social justice education, and arts education. The Associate Dean ensures leadership training and development is provided for student organizations and serves as the advisor of the Student Government Association, oversees the advising structure for all student organizations, plans college-wide events and programs, and assists other departments of the College with special events and programs.

Required Qualification Summary:
Master's degree in student personnel administration or equivalent preparation
7 to 10 years' experience in Student Life and/or overseeing the co-curricular life at a College or University
3 to 5 years' experience managing staff
Ability to work flexible hours; must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
