Job Description Summary: Job ID: 5863- Unclassified - FT (Salaried) Provide counseling and related support to enrolled Miami University Hamilton students. Supervise counseling and related student disability support services on the Regional Campuses.
Duties/Physical Demands: Provides mental health and crisis counseling to students enrolled at the Hamilton Campus. Supervises the Director of Counseling Services on the Middletown Campus, and the Coordinators of Student Disability Services on Middletown and Hamilton Campuses. Develops and/or presents on both campuses workshops, trainings and programs that focus on mental health needs of the Miami Regionals community, including but not limited to Mental Health First Aid and other suicide prevention trainings. Coordinates outreach efforts for counseling and disability services. Serves on the Regional CARE Team and consults with faculty and staff as needed regarding behavioral issues of students. Creates and maintains an effective and efficient referral network for students who need advanced psychiatric management and medication and coordinate collateral services. Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Regional Assistant Dean of Students.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field. Current Ohio license in Counseling or Social Work. Minimum three years of professional experience working with college-age population.
