Do you love to delight customers? Help us grow one of the most exciting new brands in digital finance! As UX Researcher you will combine your analytical and intuitive skills to help answer challenging design and user experience questions. You will work with product managers, designers, and tech folks to create best-in-class digital experiences for our existing Marcus by Goldman Sachs products and help launch new products on the roadmap. Work with other Marcus Consumer Insights team members to collaborate on other qualitative and quantitative primary research projects on the Marcus Lending and US Deposits businesses. This position reports to the VP of Consumer Insights and sits within the Brand and Marketing Communication team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Responsibilities
Plan, design, set-up and conduct usability and other user-testing sessions on a regular basis with Marcus customers and prospects
Develop recruiting and screening guidelines and procedures to set up an ongoing user testing framework for Marcus
Translate findings from research into concise, actionable insights that product and marketing can begin working on immediately
Advocate for "voice of the consumer" in product and design planning and brainstorming sessions
Your Capability You will have at least 2+ years conducting usability, UX and other qualitative research (e.g. in-person, remote, in-depth interviews, focus groups). You will demonstrate excellent interviewing/moderating skills, with the natural ability to connect and establish rapport with different personalities (both respondents and co-workers). You will be intuitive, creative, and analytical, with an understanding of a variety of market research methods (survey design, focus groups, etc.) Experience working in digital or personal finance and/or mobile apps will be highly beneficial; college degree in Psychology or Human Factors a plus Experience moderating/running online community panels a plus Knowledge of Qualtrics also a plus
