The Chief Data Office is focused on delivering large scale data change across business units to address Business, Regulatory and Client requirements for Data across the CIB organization. The group provides a unique mix of project skills and product experience that are not tied to a specific business unit enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality approach to the way we evolve our Data practice at JP Morgan.
The Chief Data Office is currently undergoing a full rethink of mission/strategy/scope, and the Data Quality Lead will be required to support the Firmwide Head of Data Quality in defining and driving a cutting edge Data Quality program that advances the quality of our data and delivers measurable business results. Responsibilities include:
Work in partnership with the Firmwide Head of Data Quality to define and implement a full Firmwide, global, cross-line-of-business strategy for Data Quality.
The strategy will encompass Preventative; Proactive; and Reactive approaches to quality and will encompass both policy/standards dimensions as well and practical implementation of integrated quality solutions for some of our critical business initiatives.
Build-out of the team needed to execute key strategy components as well as leverage of our existing footprint in 3 all three regions.
Marketing and promotion of the strategy and deployment progress over multiple media channels
Partnership with other leads in the CDO team to ensure alignment across groups
Forward thinking and innovative with good understanding of Investment Banking
Excellent change, business and project management skills
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal to senior MD level
Strong influencing & negotiation skills
Adaptability and creativity, strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills

10 years + in the industry with a substantial proportion of that in an Investment Banking context
Background in banking, consulting or potentially IT
