Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Full Time RN Nurse Coordinator to support the Federal Occupational Health clinic at FEMA Headquarters in Washington, DC. This contract position offers: - Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm - No night, weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities - Any State License Accepted, Active and Unrestricted - Opportunity to care for Federal Employees in highly sought after work settings - Competitive compensation and full complement of benefits Job Requirements The Registered Nurse position requires: - Graduate from a National League of Nursing accredited school (Diploma, AD or BSN) - Active and unrestricted RN license in any of the 50 states and/or U.S. territories - 1 Year experience in an Urgent Care/ER setting - 2 Years nursing experience in Occupational Health or related area such as public health, community health, outpatient clinic, school nursing, or in a physician office - 1 Year of management experience - Minimum 3 Years registered nurse experience preferred - Recent clinical experience required - Active RN license - Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers Tasks - Provides direct nursing care to adult working population - Provides walk-in care to include first aid, emergency response, basic life support (including use of AED) - May provide health education/health promotion activities per Federal Occupational Health guidelines - May provide car ordered by client's private physician when approved by Federal Occupational Health Medical Director - Coordinates, plans, implements, and evaluates all activities, including administrative activities and ensures that all services are delivered and recorded in the EMR system - Is knowledgeable in epidemiology, medical surveillance, and recognizing - workplace hazards. - Reports to the Area Nurse Manager of the area Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
