This position serves as the Head Men's Barons Basketball Coach for The Ohio State University at Lima and Rhodes State College. The Barons are part of the Ohio Regional Campus Conference (ORCC). The primary responsibilities include coaching during the months of November through February; directing training and practice programs; teaching skills and strategies to student athletes in practice, for use in competition; overseeing and controlling the use of athletic facilities as assigned by the Athletic Director; directing and controlling the maintenance of appropriate team conduct during competition, travel, practice, university events and at any other times when the team is representing the university; maintaining appropriate records of individual and team statistics and records as required; coordinating with Athletic Director to arrange for team travel within given parameters for budget and timing considerations.

Demonstrated successful basketball coaching experience; ability to work well with student-athletes; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to foster a strong and cooperative athletic environment; strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Experience coaching at the collegiate level.
