California State University San Marcos seeks a Confidential Administrative Support I (HR Analyst I) for Human Resources. Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resource Services, the HR Analyst I performs administrative, technical and analytical work in support of the following HR programs: classification, compensation, recruitment, and employee benefits. The incumbent will perform confidential human resource generalist functions including serving as a back-up in maintaining confidential files and documents including employee relations and grievance files. Administers material and information of a sensitive nature maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources or related field, plus minimum of two years' work experience directly related to one or more of the following human resources functions: Recruitment, Classification, Compensation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least one year of HR Generalist experience, highly preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP Certification highly preferred
Salary and Position Status
Full-time probationary position with benefits ending on or before June 30, 2019.
