Practice description: Radiation Oncology Associates, Ltd. is private practice group of 17 physicians serving 14 different radiation therapy departments in eastern Wisconsin. Radiation Oncology Associates has a successful track record of providing strong medical leadership to radiation oncology departments. We work cooperatively with institutions to improve radiation oncology services and thereby increase patient census. We coordinate with other medical specialists to fortify the oncology service line. We apply routine and specialized procedure skills to the treatment of our cancer patients. We pursue the acquisition of new techniques shown to be clinically efficacious. We actively participate in clinical research.

Green Bay has HDR brachytherapy, LDR prostate seed implant, and an active SRS and SBRT radiosurgery program. They are currently participating in trials for IORT for breast cancer and they actively enroll patients to NGR trials.
Green Bay is most notably the home of the Packers. Green Bay and the Fox Valley is primarily a manufacturing area with a thriving economy with a population approaching 1 million. The area was listed as one of the most “financially fit” metropolitan areas in the US among similar sized communities. The public school systems are rated highly, and achieve test scores that regularly outperform the national averages. The area is rich in natural resources with opportunities for all types of outdoor activities. But in the fall, you’d best be prepared to wear green and gold.
