Budget Title: Staff Associate (SL-4)
Reporting directly to the Director of Health & Counseling Services, this position will work directly with the Director, Coordinator of Clinical Services, Medical Director and other administrative staff to support business and administrative processes and operations within the merged departments of Health and Counseling. Assistance in the oversight of daily operations and business practices of the Decker Student Health Services Center (DSHSC), the University Counseling Center (UCC) and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as directed by the Director of Health & Counseling Services to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This person will directly supervise the clerical team within Decker Student Health Services and assist with clinical staffing schedules and other operational oversight as assigned by the Director of Health and Counseling.
Leadership experience in a healthcare setting (overseeing both clinical & clerical staff)
Ability to handle a busy schedule in a dynamic environment, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to collaborate
Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, public speaking, and leading group discussions
Ability to handle spontaneous work demands while undertaking projects that require advance planning
Commitment to a proactive student development perspective involving an active relationship with the campus community
Registered Nursing License
Multicultural awareness, knowledge, understanding, responsiveness, and skills to work with culturally diverse populations
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
Confidence and skill with data collection and analysis
College health experience
