Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs

The Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs is a 12-month professional position; having off the 4th week off June through the 3rd week of July each year. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Dean of Students and the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs. We seek a professional with passion for and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, student advocacy, and student-centered learning and development. The succssful candidate will participate in departmental strategic planning and mission/vision development for the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, and will work with the fraternity and sorority community through hands-on advising, innovative and creative programming, and educational initiatives critical to the success of our community. The Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs facilitates educational and programmatic initiatives as well as advises fraternities and sororities and governing councils to promote health and safety, foster diversity and inclusion, and cultivate a learning-centered environment that connects individual, organizational and community experiences. Support for professional development opportunities will be provided and professional development is strongly encouraged.
