The Role Responsibilities · Spearhead Product Distribution Strategy focusing on Insurance Products across segments and value streams · Support and Drive Business Performance, from channel/distribution sales performance, to cost management, customer base growth and market share · Drive Product Management and Delivery - Ensure Bancassurance product delivery and execution of the product's route to market across all channels, in line with the overall business plan and revenue targets. · Ensure compliance with Regulations, the Group Insurance Manual and the relevant Group Procedure and Product Governance committees. · Work closely with insurance partners to conceptualise, negotiate, develop, or re-package product propositions to drive sales acquisition and increase wallet share. This is enabled by identifying customer, market, and/or distribution opportunities, and conducting regular market scans for best practice. · Conduct regular insurance product and provider reviews and competitor analysis on price and proposition. · Coordinate insurance providers and internal teams (marketing, segments) to drive product launch and increase product penetration, such as: a) Marketing and Product launch: sales kits and below-the-line marketing such as point-of-sale materials, internal & external communication, promotions, direct marketing, event marketing and scripts b) Training coordination and improve distribution touchpoints c) Targeted marketing at client base via TeleMarketing, Direct Marketing, or Remote Channels and utilizing customer analytics and purchase propensity models · Support Bancassurance revenue growth in accordance to Budget/Forecast · Initiate, contribute and provide strategic inputs to deliver on and exceeding business plans, and ensure that product and product mix, marketing activities, and distribution channels are aligned to achieving business plan · Support Bancassurance Head to deliver an overall country strategy with proactive and regular engagements with the Bancassurance Team, Wealth Management, and all Segments to drive the business forward. · Track and measure results, and ensure reporting and MIS infrastructure is in place to measure business performance (profit, revenue, commission, and costs) and financial drivers (e.g. referrals, conversion ratios). · Support channel set-up within distribution, such as insurance specialists, and develop and drive governance, processes, and proposals to enable launch of direct sales models. · Work closely with segments to determine, agree & monitor achievement of sales & service KPIs (including the appropriate number of staff for each and allocation of sales & service targets) with Insurance Partners · Active involvement in defining the appropriate skills, education, experience etc of the insurance sales staff & development of the training curriculum to optimize sales achievement. This involves close interaction with the Learning Academy, Legal & Compliance, and Segments. · Deliver projects, including technology-related, that will support, drive, and scale up the Bancassurance business · Responsible for necessary reportings as required by local country insurance authorities and regulators. Line managers, Retail Head and Group Bancassurance must be aligned to all external communications. · Manage all activities to ensure that they are compliant and adhereing to policies, regulations and processes.
