We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Regional Digital Product Lead, reporting into COO, Asia Pacific, Global Private Banking.
Responsible for the delivery, on-going success and continuous improvement of one or more digital products and/or platforms.
Act as the digital product owner and subject matter expert, facing into a major programme of work within HSBC Private Bank
Own the digital product within multi disciplinary agile teams to deliver excellent new products and/or iterations to existing products to meet user needs
Create, own and maintain the requirement backlog. Ensure the wider team understand the backlog
Establish governance and controls to manage the requirements gathering and business engagement
Own the development of wireframes, prototypes and other high/low fidelity tools to clearly articulate the digital product vision and design to stakeholders and team members
Drive the UX design to bring your digital products to life, exploiting the wider Private Bank UX framework
Reflect the legal, cross border and regulatory requirements into digital product design
Define and get business buy in for product definition and delivery approach
Interpret user research in order to make the correct product decisions, noting that users do not always know what they want
Keep continually abreast of changes to user habits, preferences and behaviours across various digital platforms and their implications for successful delivery of digital wealth services
Underpin the delivery and iteration of digital services through effective analysis of qualitative and quantitative user data
Work with the HSBC group to establish a framework of Customer Test agencies to deliver global testing
Act at the focus for user acceptance and business acceptance of your digital products
Disseminate an understanding of the digital wealth marketplace, including best practice, costs, suppliers, methodologies and skills to stakeholders
Be actively involved across partner and user communities to promote the department's principles and foster a collaborative approach to solution delivery and engagement.
Strong understanding of the digital product development process, ranging from requirements and idea inception through to development and execution
Experience of working with digital requirements gathering and digital journey mapping, working directly with business stakeholders. Able to articulate how these requirements are elaborated and validated
Strong understanding of owning, managing and organising requirements catalogues and processes
Able to demonstrate how customer centric thinking is expressed and reinforced through the digital product design processes
Strong understanding of digital UX and interaction design
Ability to manage 3rd party digital agencies and consultancies
Excellent communication skills and an understanding of how global teams need to work to be effective across video conferencing, email, messaging, timezones
Understanding of digital product testing desirable
Strong understanding of the application of digital technology and its creative application to Banking/Wealth
Understanding of how the changing regulatory environment has impacts on the digital product design process
Comfortable moving seamlessly between micro detail of requirement gathering and the strategic view of digital strategy
Open to occasional travel and attend global calls as required
Undergraduate or higher qualification
