Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Admin Associate.
In this role, the successful candidate The Admin Associate provides clerical support in the office, and administrative support to the Vice President.
Performs diversified mix of administrative and project functions, utilizing personal computer, organizational and communication skills in order to meet the departments administrative needs
Manages the clerical support staff for the department, including daily work assignments, evaluations, and other related activities.
Ensures that clerical work is performed on time and that deadlines are met.
Provides administrative support to the Vice President CM, including, but not limited to, managing the calendar, answering phone and taking messages, assisting in preparation of reports and other documents, and other administrative functions as needed and requested.
Opens and reviews mail, distributes as appropriate
Able to perform role function where supervision provided defines objectives and deadlines, and develops deadlines and priorities with supervisor.
Regularly handles confidential and proprietary information.
Responsible for projects or programs
Identifies appropriate action steps based on the project or activity as indicated
Regularly interfaces with other departments on program and departmental matters. May have contact with senior executives.
Compiles data and information as requested. Draft, type, proofread and edit correspondence
Coordinates, attends and takes minutes at various meetings.
Demonstrates an awareness of and respect for cultural differences.
Assists with reports as needed
Assists with special projects as needed and performs related duties as assigned
Exercises independent judgment and problem solving. Actively resolves administrative issues in accordance with instructions, policies and procedures. Recommends solutions of non routine issues/problems to a higher level
Performs other duties as assigned or volunteered in alignment with LMC mission, goals and values
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a High School diploma 3 years relevant prior office administrative experience in a fast paced environment with heavy computer and phone utilization.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
