We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Certified Health Coordinator in the Orthopedic Surgery Department. To qualify a High School Diploma or equivalent required. Three (3) or more years of experience and CPC required. Previous experience in a medical office preferred. The ability to used Windows based system, some word processing and spreadsheet management. Knowledge of spreadsheet software used for tracking work. Requires knowledge of Practice Management (billing related software.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing claims, educates physicians and staff, researches coding inquiries, utilizes professional organizations such as AAOS for insight in decision making. Tracks payment trends and billing trends. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Reviews surgery claims, spot checks office claims.
Knowledge of rules and regulations, maximizes use of modifiers to attain maximum reimbursement.
Develops spreadsheet to track surgery claims, reviews OR schedule.
Data Collection Input.

Performs other duties as assigned.
