Fiber optic cable testing is highly technical and requires much learning (we train you)
As an OptoTest Corporation Outside Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting our line of world-class fiber optic test equipment to companies throughout the U.S. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced high-tech environment where learning and growing is constant. In this role you will travel to visit accounts throughout the US and away from the office about 50% of your time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Handling account volume ranging from $1-$3,000,000 nationwide
Identify and develop leads
Create opportunities with new accounts
Service existing accounts
Discuss customer problems and create solutions using our products
Prepare quotes and proposals
Demonstrate our products in person and via web screen sharing
Assist in the setup and training of our products
Perform follow ups after the sale to ensure our solutions met or exceeded requirements
Utilize or CRM to document advancements of your sales efforts
Work as part of a team to provide world-class service that exceeds our customers’ expectations
Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Business Administration, Engineering) plus 2-4 years sales experience or experience in a technical field. In addition, the ability to represent the operation in a professional manner at the assigned accounts, and the ability to coordinate sales through the selling organization. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
