The Epic QA Analyst is involved in developing, evaluating, revising, applying and documenting technical quality assurance protocols, methods and test plans to inspect and test a variety of IT processes, software and products. The Epic QA Analyst ensures activities and items are in compliance with both campus, medical center or Office of the President IT quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations and software/product design specifications to determine and approve software releases. The Epic QA Analyst performs analysis and identify trends in the inspection of IT processes, software and products and recommend corrective actions when necessary. The Epic QA Analyst is involved in developing, auditing, monitoring and enforcing the established release management processes and policies in support of cross-domain configuration integration, testing, completeness and consistency.REQUIRED--Experience with software design, development, modification, implementation and analysis.--Experience with software testing.--Knowledge of software functions and analysis.--Interpersonal skills in order to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. PREFERRED--Experience with the use of automated testing tools.--Knowledge of the ISO standards and the CMMI (Compatibility Maturity Model Integration) model.--Knowledge of other areas of IT.
