The chemistry department at Salve Regina University is seeking a highly qualified and motivated instructor to teach 2 Organic Chemistry labs in a small liberal arts University, this fall 2018. This position may also become available in future. The instructor is expected to support the university's vision of becoming a catholic university of distinction. The university is located in the scenic Newport, Rhode Island.
A minimum of a Master's degree in Chemistry or related field and other appropriate credentials, if applicable. Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred.
Experience teaching organic chemistry lab
An ability to teach classes during the day at the scheduled class times
Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning
Experience using a Learning Management System such as Blackboard
