Job Purpose (Job Summary): This is an investment operations position that proactively supports all local and international Investment Professionals of the Global Real Estate Securities team by seeking out opportunities and responsibilities that will allow the Investment Team to focus exclusively on investment research and investment decision making.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Implement trade creation based on Investment Team instruction and coordinate with Invesco global trading desks
Ensure receipt of all client cash inflows and outflows and implement necessary rebalancing
Monitor and review client trading restrictions to ensure all guidelines are being satisfied in trade implementation
Maintain shared investment models and portfolio model summaries including processing, reporting, data verification, and scenario testing at the request of the Investment Team
Update various Microsoft Excel files and customized Bloomberg data for Investment Team based on deadlines established by each, i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly
Provide basic research support by running routine reports and performing data entry tasks including the Morning Outstanding Trades Report, Daily Cash Email, Daily Performance Report, other reports as defined and required
Perform and coordinate portfolio analytics, including performance attribution and monthly/quarterly reporting data packages
Provide support to the Investment Team for proxy voting matters
Maintain commission, CSA, and soft dollar reports
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Minimum 3 years professional work environment experience
Experience with Bloomberg and order management systems a plus
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Must demonstrate initiative, ownership for position and effective problem solving
Advanced computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel
Proven organizational skills and detail orientation
Proven communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent team orientation
Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels
Ability to meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
Undergraduate degree required, Finance or Computer Science preferred
Due to trading environment, schedule will require arrival by 7:30 a.m.
