The Analyst position reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Executive Affairs and is responsible for analytic and project management support for the Strategy Office. This role supports the development of a comprehensive healthcare network of owned and affiliated entities, including the UC San Diego Faculty Practice, the UC San Diego Physician Network and the UC San Diego Health Care Network.
In addition, the Analyst will be responsible for working closely with Government Affairs and Health Sciences Planning to understand and analyze policy impacts to the region and on the clinical enterprise. Finally, this position will serve as a resource to the Strategy Office, organizing and facilitating small and large gatherings of clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and elicit engagement across all levels of the organization.
A Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.
A minimum of three (3+) or more years of relevant experience i.e. analytic and/or project management.
Experience and thorough knowledge of business development concepts, practices and functions including health care research resources.
MBA, MPH, or MHA.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
