To assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and staff in overseeing the daily administration and management of the Strength and Conditioning area of Athletics and to improve the performance abilities of our athletes through safe and proper weight training and conditioning routines while instructing and supervising them in injury preventive methods during their workouts.
Assists the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and staff with the daily area operations and in creating, organizing and instructing workouts for all assigned teams while facilitating performance enhancement, injury prevention and mental toughness measures for the student athletes of PVAMU.
Adheres to all established rules and regulations of these governing entities; the NCAA, SWAC, TAMUS, PVAMU, and the Department of Athletics; reports any violations of these rules and regulations that may arise to the proper officials.
Performs other duties as assigned
Will be the liaison for the men?s basketball program and assist the University Business Offices in regards to Travel Office and Pro-Card Office matters
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in kinesiology or a related field
Three years of related experience
