Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of operations of two student services programs, Peer Tutoring and Student Housing. This is a live-in position with on-call responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Student Housing Program responsibilities:
Manage maintenance and administration of 50 student apartments/ 200 students
Hire, train, and supervise Student Resident Assistant staff
Serve in an on-call capacity to address student residential concerns
Uphold all College policies as outlined in the Student Handbook and College Catalog
Assist in the adjudication of assigned conduct cases
Develop and implement a housing programming model to enhance student residential experience
Maintain relationship with housing vendor property management to ensure timely return and receipt of apartments
Manage room assignments, the move-in/ move-out process, and annual room consolidations.
Peer Tutoring Program responsibilities:
Supervise and evaluate student peer tutoring program
Identify needed tutors each term, hire, train and schedule student tutors
Ensure responsive, effective, and timely delivery of tutoring services to students
Facilitate appropriate assessment of Peer Tutoring and make recommendations for improvement
Assist with or teach College Success courses as needed
Collaborate with the Dean of Students and Academic Advisors to analyze reports and identify student progression
Advise and refer students on a wide range of academic, personal and disciplinary matters, referring to on or off-campus resources as appropriate.
Adhere to laws, external regulations, internal policies, procedures, and requirements governing areas of responsibility.
Other duties and projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Education; Human Relations; Psychology; Human Services, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Two or more years of Residential Life/Student Affairs experience
Experience in property management a plus

Experience with and an understanding of ADA, FERPA and other applicable local, state, and Federal compliance requirements.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
This job requires supervision of student housing with extensive people interaction. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and office machines.
On-call evening and weekend work. Extended or non-traditional hours occasionally required. Attendance at evening and weekend events is sometimes required.
