Performs a variety of library support services, depending on area of work, performs one or more of the following duties:
Catalogs library materials; searches for, edits and inputs records; transfers records into automated system.
Investigates, analyzes and resolves cataloging problems..
Inspects and processes new library materials and performs data entry for inventory control.
May oversee the work activities of library assistants and/or student workers in Access Services, Shelving, Database Maintenance and Government Documents.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
High school and 1 year experience
Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED.
Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
