The Fletcher School Office of Admissions and Financial Aid is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and enrollment of students for six degree programs (MA, MALD, MIB, LLM, MATA and PhD). The office is responsible for all matters related to incoming and continuing student financial aid.
The Admissions Counselor works with a professional Admissions team to fulfill the enrollment objectives set by the Dean for the school. S/he reads and evaluates applications for admission, participates in the selection process and serves on selection committee, conducts group information sessions for prospective students and represents the university at schools and college fairs during travel to assigned geographic recruitment territory. This individual assists the Assistant and/or Associate Director with the coordination of specific recruitment initiatives such as publications or social media strategy. The Admissions Counselor at The Fletcher School manages the processing of approximately 1500 applications and 10,000 inquiries annually. S/he implements technical and systems activities supporting the admissions effort. Manages data and tracks information on inquiries, applicants and enrolled students. Hires, trains and manages student interns.
Bachelor's Degree and up to 2 years of related experience as a student employee or professional in a secondary school or institution of higher education.
Previous systems and/or database experience preferred.
Special Work Schedule Requirements: Position requires travel. Some weekend and evening hours may be required.
