Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. currently has an opening for an Associate Attorney to join our Business Services Practice Group in the St. Louis office, primarily providing support to the Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years of experience working on M&A and other complex business transactions for both private and public companies, as well as private equity, family offices and other institutional investors;
a broad knowledge and deep understanding of general corporate law, as well as transaction and entity structuring and related tax matters; and
substantive experience with shareholder and equity arrangements, corporate governance and general corporate representations.
In addition to strong academic and professional credentials, candidates are expected to have a willingness, and possess the ability, to take on significant responsibility for drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing client relationships, supervising junior associates, and handling day-to-day demands and work flow requirements for a variety of clients with sophisticated needs. Candidates with an aptitude for and/or established track record of business development strongly preferred.
