Global Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Asia Internal Audit Analyst Chief Operating Officer Management Information.
The primary responsibility of the MI Analyst is successful execution: the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an aptitude for innovative MI solution delivery that is pragmatic and heuristic.
Partnering effectively with stakeholders.
MI in an audit context for example relevant data identification, data ingestion, data transformation, data aggregation, data analysis, MI, and reporting.
Analysis of data sources and appropriateness of data for Internal Audit MI use, data fit and conformance to stated objectives and MI purposes.
Design, build, implementation, and support of MI tools and technology solutions such as visualizations, dashboards, analysis tools, and analytical procedures to support intelligent and targeted MI provision to partners and stakeholders.
Successful transfer of MI solutions to audit teams, partners and stakeholders.
Consistently displaying behaviors that form part of HSBC Values and Culture
Quantitative Master's degree, banking experience not necessary, but an advantage.
Aptitude to innovate, demonstrated by past experience.
A mindset that naturally emphasizes execution and delivery.
Disposition to partner effectively internally and externally to provide MI solutions.
Strong knowledge and experience of MI not limited to a banking environment, though banking would be preferable
Knowledge of transformation and delivery, with emphasis upon agile and rapid delivery modalities.
Ability to understand complex issues and provide pragmatic solutions.
Ability to work within complex business and stakeholder relationships in a diverse business and cultural setting.
High standards of professional and personal integrity.
Good written and verbal articulation skills.
Willingness to travel regionally.
