We are looking for Credit Risk control Manager . The Role Responsibilities Reviewing credit facilities vis-à-vis approved Business Credit Applications (BCAs) and to ensure all terms and conditions are met for compliance with Bank's policies and guidelines, including but not limited to, Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML). * Liaise with Lending Documentation Unit (LDU) with all non-standard loan related documentation, and security documents. * Upon receipt of written confirmation from LDU that required and security documents taken is enforceable for issuing SCC/PSCC/DDN for limit activations. * Perform updating in Collateral Management System (CMS) related to secured documentation to ensure in compliance with the Bank's policy guidelines. * Identify security risk mitigates and documentation requirements and cooperate closely with the Group Shared Service Centre (GSSC) in Chennai to ensure data are captured accurately in SCI, CMS and all other TP systems. * Evaluate and update data as required in CMS to perfect various security types and sub-types to meet Basel & RWA requirements. * Reduce document deficiencies; proactively coordinate with Business Units personnel to track documents in process and to expedite the generation of Compliance Certificates, including DDN, PSCC, and SCC. * Lodgement and safekeeping of Contractual and Security documents in CMS and in the Fire Resistant Cabinets. * Retrieves original documents from the vault as requested by the external approved requester. * Scanning of documents into the iCDMS system. * Compile ASTAR reports on a monthly basis * Review all the daily, bi-monthly and monthly control reports by following up to ensure that the necessary actions are taken. * Participate and attend CDU AML Procedures training at least annually. * Review with full understanding of SCB prescribed BSA/AML Policy and Program including completion of all AML e-learning trainings on time without chasers or reminders Escalated as appropriate - without fear of penalty - any "Suspicious Activities" and "Red Flags" events to BORM and the Head of CRC
Risk Management * Ensure areas of responsibility are performing to an acceptable risk and control standard * Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness becomes apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees Governance * Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements to the extent of their applicability to processes handled by CRC. This includes compliance with local banking laws, other applicable laws. * Embed the Group's values and code of conduct to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations.
Our Ideal Candidate 10 Years experience in banking operations and a sound understanding of security and contractual documentation * Good working knowledge on Banks products/Services and operations of other department * Strong analytical and dispute resolution skills, and the ability to command the respect of a cross functional set of professionals at a senior level * Sound knowledge of banking practices, relevant legislation and Statutory Regulatory requirements. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with multi-cultural teams in an effective manner
