Spread Technology Team is focused on delivering best in class IT solutions to the Credit Trading business where JP Morgan is a market leader. We are a team of around 300+ people with the core of our development effort based in the financial hubs of London, New York and Hong Kong where we partner closely with the quant research group and face off directly to the trading desks. Our core strength is providing the technical expertise and software development skills that directly affect the ability of our business to generate revenue and remain the dominant player in the market. We are committed to hiring the brightest and best technical experts and in return can offer roles with direct trading and quant research interaction on projects from electronic and algorithmic trading to grid based computation of real-time risk metrics.
We are looking to hire an accomplished and experienced Sr. Software Engineer as part of the Fixed Income front office development team in Hong Kong building technology solutions for Credit Desk. The role requires an expertise in developing applications in distributed architecture used by Front office trading desks.
Knowledge/Experience: · 1 0+ years of hands on experience developing end to end client-server applications. · Experience using the Design patterns, building efficient algorithms and sound knowledge of various data structures. · Fast learner, Strong analytical and development skills, adaptability to work on different technology platforms for troubleshooting. · · Experience working in a team with a strong Agile software development process (build, test, deploy, etc.)
· Trading Floor experience, or experience being co-located with users desired.
Key Responsibilities: · · Work and collaborate with a team of strong 300+ talented developers spread in strategic locations across the globe building cutting edge solutions for the trading desk. · · Work with the global technology team to identify opportunities to build common components, delivering a more service-based architecture and greater degree of reuse across teams globally. · · Work with the development team in Hong Kong to provide local expertise for solutions for desk requests.
