The Coding Theory, Cryptography, and Number Theory group at Clemson University has an RTG postdoctoral position in areas of mathematics related to interests of the members of the RTG group. This position is renewable annually to a maximum of three years and carries a two course per year teaching load. This position also includes summer support for two summers and a research allowance. Along with teaching duties, RTG postdocs will also be expected to participate in some of the other activities associated to the grant that can be found on the grant webpage (http://www.math.clemson.edu/ccnt).
RTG Postdoctoral Fellow: 1 course fall -1 course spring teaching load for the duration of the appointment (26% Essential)
Conduct research, interact with faculty and graduate students, participate in other aspects of the RTG program, and is required to apply for at least one government sponsored grant during his/her time in the position. (74% Essential)
Minimum Qual: Ph.D. in Mathematics received within the past two years. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Perferred Qual: Ph.D. in Mathematics received within the past two years with research emphasis in Coding Theory, Cryptography, or Number Theory. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Applicants must be a US citizen or permanent resident and must have a doctorate received within the past two years.
Standard Hrs: 37.5; Salary is competitive.
