NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of the Center for Sustainable Business. The selected candidate will provide a high level of strategic, logistical and operational support in managing Stern's premier Center for Sustainable Business. S/he will oversee project management of the Center's experiential learning initiatives, especially the launch and organization of the "Opportunity Zone Challenge." The Assistant Director will manage various Center events, conferences and programs. S/he will plan, draft and execute traditional and digital marketing strategies for the Center's communications. The selected candidate will also help cultivate and maintain relationships with external and internal constituencies to further the success and exposure of the Center's programs and offerings.
S/he will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in community building and outreach, or equivalent combination. Excellent project management skills are crucial. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills are required. S/he must have a demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships. The selected candidate will be an extremely organized self-starter who can work on multiple projects under deadline pressures. Candidates with experience working for an NGO, local city government, or environmental organization, particularly with a focus on sustainability, are preferred.
