Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a talented professional like you to join our Finance Management team. In this role, you will have subject matter responsibility of Book-to-Report (B2R): Financial Reporting, General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Income Statement, Intracompany Transfer Pricing, Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Non-Trade Billing.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational background in business and professional experience in process analysis and improvement, you will ensure operational (B2R) needs are met, issues are being resolved effectively and operational productivity is monitored. Additionally, you will consult, coordinate and manage project requirements/resources (including SAP Change Request process) with Global Finance Transformation (GFT), Shared Service Center (SSC)and key stakeholders.
Communicating effectively across the business, you will collaborate with FBM's (Finance Business Managers) and all of Region finance to monitor SLAs with the (SSC) and manage the SSC relationship for B2R Finance Service delivery to the Region.
Furthering your ability to lead proactively and with integrity, you will enforce governance of standards, guidelines, policies and procedures for accounting processes across the North American region.
As a role model, you will supervise and manage local staff that provide the day to day services to the business and develop the team by providing direction, guidance, and oversight, ensuring adequate training, assisting with talent/career development.
Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will execute strategic initiatives among local stakeholders, SSC and the GFT team.
Your experience in process analysis and improvement will be a valued asset asyou will be the main escalation point to and from the SSC on strategic and recurring operational issue resolution and drive further harmonization of processes within the Americas region.
Successfully engaging across the organization, you will develop and manage key stakeholder relationships (i.e. Master Data, Tax, Site Controllers, Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.) to develop and/or improve effective end to end processes. You will also participate in discussions relating to process development along with colleagues from the SSC and GFT.
