Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this dedicated team in the role of Head of Human Resources, RBWM Asia Pacific.
Deliver alignment between the people strategy and the business strategy, deliver commercial value through the Group People Agenda in RBWM.
Manage demand from the business, ensuring priorities and resource allocation is aligned with commercial return on investment on HR interventions.
Provide proactive and professional HR consultancy to the business and implementation support to facilitate business growth.
Develop employer propositions to attract and retain talent with the business.
Provide expert advice and guidance to senior executives on complex HR issues and people decisions and manage ad-hoc complex industrial and people issues, including Employer Relation cases.
Develop and sustain effective functional relationship with the business and demonstrate a strategic approach to relationship development across the organizational matrix.
Develop and communicate a compelling vision that inspires and engages people with the HSBC Values.
Drive constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action.
Coach and manage the performance of the ASP RBWM HR Business Partner team and provide developmental opportunities and guidance to upgrade the individual capabilities within the team and ensure sustainable talent pipeline to cope with changing needs.
Drive the continuing development or transformation of the HR operating model to ensure the business operates increasing effectively and efficiently and is able to deliver HSBC's strategic goals.
Drive the definition and embedding of HR policy and governance frameworks across the business to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Extensive HR experience within a regional or global capacity in a fast-moving, complex and demanding corporate environment.
Broad generalist HR experience gained across a variety of businesses.
Experience of working at a strategic level in international environments.
Proven ability in leading HR professional, raising standards within the function and improving the profile of HR within a business.
Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the businesses' products and services, the external environment, the competitive landscape and broad macro-economic trends.
Commercial awareness and ability to articulate business value of HR initiatives and make commercially sound judgment to advise businesses.
Proven ability to manage change initiatives and HR projects across multiple business units and geographies.
A Bachelor's degree with a post graduate qualification in an HR related discipline.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders relationships.
